West African Christian University is the divinely called to pioneer missionary activities within the sub-region and to help churches develop their vision, management and spiritual disciplines for world evangelism and missions. It is the parent body for the West Africa School for Christian Missions (WACCM). WACCM operates under WACU.

PROF. CHARLES ISIMEME OHIKU:PROVOST
Prof. Charles Ohiku is a tested missionary with a heart of gold for the lost, the unreached in the hinterlands of West Africa and the less privileged in the society.Since his calling into the mnistry in the early nineties, the Higher National diploma holder in Accountancy decided to pitch his tent in Sango-Otta,Ogun state, one of Nigeria's unreached places.He is also the Founder/President of Voice of Watchman Nigeria,( a non-denomenational missionary/humanitarian organisation),the President of Christian Reasearch Institite, Missionary Forum for Prison Welfare and H.O.P.E Foundation. he is married to Rev. Dr. Christiana Ohiku, a colabourer in the Lord's vineyard, and they are blessed with children. |
Mission
WACU programme is designed to meet the educational and spiritual needs of West Africa sub-region and Africa in general. While remaining committed to the purpose, the Christian University will continue to often comprehensive service to a diverse body of traditional and non-traditional student with a broad range of academic preparation and skills
